Biju Baby Age : Location : Bangalore About Me : If not for words and images, if not for sensory delights and the lilt of the spoken word,
I believe this would have been the dreariest place in the whole universe for this member
of the race called Homo sapiens to live a life, find a way to earn my daily bread and,
(oh yes!), gnash your teeth at those who have more greenbacks than me.
Thank God for the neon and the arc lights - for without them, jealousy would have been a
much softer expression, and awe - a stronger form of surprise! I love the rainy nights -
the way lightning lights up the sky, the eternal promise of the seasons, and the way hope
blooms with the first rains after the parched summer days, the magic in the way events unfold
in different corners of this planet, and the surreal bonds with which they are all connected.
And the way the human mind ticks - making us the fool or the famous, always fascinates me.
John Lennon once mentioned about getting back to his favourite bedroom and, in the privacy of
its closed doors, start peeling off the different masks he wore, and drape them over the furniture,
the bed, on the window sill and, for a while, be the John Lennon he wanted to be … those masks always
interest me.
It is our everyday lives, our social interactions, which make us what we are and others celebrities.
I believe Providence mixed up the measuring ladle when Music was being doled out for my mould, for which I
shall remain eternally thankful.
Music forms the most vital ingredient of this carbon-based biped, all nicely packaged in a shocking combination
of lunacy and irreverence.
Maybe its the sign of the times but, as far I have come to know, its inanity that drives this century, and the current generation!
This soul thinks that inanity is worshipped, put on a pedestal and blown up to absurdly mythical proportions that make you go back
cringing to re-read George Orwells Animal Farm.
But it brings in the moolah - and did I hear anyone complaining?
